Isn't it great having grandkids to keep you involved in sports. Have a great day tomorrow....didn't realize you were one of the youngsters in our class.

Gene Mustin Well, now thank you ....I didn't realize that either...'course I haven't really checked on that...yes it is...have been involved with the two boys ever since they could swing a bat or kick a ball...have been coaching football for three yrs now and I love it...imagine at this age...remember...haven't looked it up recently but I was tagged as returning to DDHS and coaching basketball...this more enjoyable...oldest 15 is sophomore RT for Seabreeze High School and my youngest an 8th grader is a QB, WR, TE in AYF organization team called Ormond Beach Pride football team. Working with them and the other young players I think keeps you a little "young"...at least in the mind...the body has given out....but, I can still stand on one foot and put my socks on...lol!

  2. Who is Special K.? I tried to repost from facebook and the picture of Gene and his grandsons did not copy or paste. Then I couldn't get into my edit, and things are changing on Google faster than I can keep up. Gene's grandsons are proof that the younger generation is coming in larger sizes.

  3. Hi everyone, it is wonderful having grand kids, although I only have one, Destinee Fields. She will be 15 in May. My daughter Megan works extremely long hours, so I have pretty much raised Destinee. She is at my house all the time - just goes home to sleep. I do all of the school and sports. She is on the Pioneer JV softball team this year. Never did I think I would be sitting at so many cold fields at 70! She is a great kid. Full of supreme confidence. I some
Times think she is the reason I'm still here...have to add, it keeps me young! I actually like hip hop and keep up on all the current lingo.
