Joyce Rieser Atkinson

After a brief stay at the Golden Years nursing home in Walworth, Joyce lost her battle with cancer early this morning with her family present.  She fought it bravely for several years and was active in many community organizations.  Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

    Carol A. Christian, 73, of Fort Atkinson, died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.

    Carol was born on October 4, 1943 in Elkhorn, daughter of the late Willard and Marjorie (Lamkin) Wendorf. She married Charles Christian on July 30, 1966 in Long Beach, CA.

    Carol had been employed by the Fort Atkinson Hospital for many years working as a nurse. She enjoyed traveling and reading books and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
